Zoom In A) Click and drag a rectangle: Click and hold the left mouse button down on the map to begin drawing the rectangle. Drag the mouse to the opposite corner of the rectangle, encompassing the area to zoom, and release the mouse button. The map will zoom in to the area of the rectangle. The smaller the rectangle you draw, the more the map will zoom in. Zoom Out A) Click and drag a rectangle: Click and hold the left mouse button down on the map to begin drawing the rectangle. Drag the mouse to the opposite corner of the rectangle, and release the mouse button. The map will then zoom out. The smaller the rectangle you draw, the more the map will zoom out. Pan Click and drag the map: Click and hold the left mouse button on the map, and drag the map to the desired position on your screen. Full Extent Full extent: Immediately zooms the map out to the original statewide view. The active tool does not change. Identify See below for detailed instructions. How to Map Your Address 1. To plot an address on the map display, begin by selecting Locate Address under the Task heading. How to Identify Broadband Providers 1. On the Toolbar, click the Identify tool 2. In the map display, click on the feature or area you want to identify. An identify icon 3. Expand the location by clicking the plus sign. This displays the names of the layers that had features identified. 5. Expand the feature name to get additional information. |
