Connect Colorado is the first step to improving broadband availability to all Colorado citizens. Established on July 1, 2009, Connect Colorado is a non-profit organization working with the Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology to ensure all communities rural and urban have access to the unlimited benefits associated with broadband.

Connect Colorado has been charged with the creation of a broadband inventory map. This map provides the first comprehensive look at where broadband is and more importantly where it is not. The map serves as a starting point for comprehensive broadband expansion to ensure that all Colorado residents know the possibilities of broadband.
